Hey, I’m Emily! It’s so nice to meet you!

I have been teaching Physical Education, Health, and Adapted Physical Education in California public schools for over 11 years and have been coaching children and teens in various settings for over 15 years.

My curiosity and love of learning has led me to achieve my Master’s degree in Kinesiology, become a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 (RYT), obtain Precision Nutrition Coach certification, and soon to be certified UCLA PEERS provider. Coaching, teaching, fitness, health and nutrition have always sparked me and now I want to combine these passions into a service to share with children and adults of all abilities.

I thrive on illuminating others to adapt and develop healthy habits and skills that are specific to them to achieve optimal individual wellness. Mindful Movement and Health is about not just teaching and coaching wellness but creating a positive and memorable experience within the mind and body. I am here to help you eat well, be well and live beautifully!

I know what you're thinking:
"Why now?"

The importance of taking personal responsibility for your own health and wellness has never been more clear. Eating real food (i.e. not processed foods), daily exercise, connecting with others in the community, getting enough sleep, and being outside are all contributing factors to one’s optimal wellness.
